SmartMotor

This breakthrough drive product combines adjustable speed control electronics with a Premium Efficiency industrial motor in one easy to install, easy to use package. The Baldor SmartMotor is available in 1 through 10 HP covering NEMA frames from 56C to 215TC for standard and Washdown Duty designs. Close Coupled Pump units in NEMA 143JM to 215JM frames are also available. UL / CUL Listing and C-Face with rigid mounting base is standard and all models are available from stock.


Soft Start

Baldors full line of Soft Start motor controls for AC induction motors include products from simple Torque Control designs to the easy to program Digital controls. Units are available to reduce mechanical stress, prolong motor life and lower motor inrush currents in both single and three phase designs. Combination, Non-Combination and control only configurations in panel or NEMA 1, 3R, 12, or NEMA 4 enclosures are available from 1 through 800 HP. Many are available from stock or can be quick shipped in 72 hours or less. UL and CUL Listing along with CE Certification are standard on most designs.


Vector

High performance Vector controls for AC Induction motors are available in a variety of ratings, and input voltages. Using Flux Vector control techniques and closed loop motor feedback the Baldor Vector control makes automating industrial equipment easy with the built in motor auto-tuning feature. Baldor stocks ratings from 1 to 450 HP and has custom capabilities in larger horsepower sizes. All units are UL and CUL listed and come standard with ready to mount NEMA 1 enclosures and easy to use Operator Keypads. Expansion capabilities for various I/O and Bus Communications protocols are available with field installable expansion boards.


Vector Line Regen

High performance Line Regen Vector controls for AC Induction motors are available in a variety of ratings, input voltages, and enclosure styles. Using Flux Vector control techniques and closed loop motor feedback the Baldor Line Regen Vector control adds even more capability in slowing a motor and saving energy at the same time. No dynamic braking resistors are needed to bleed energy from the motor control. Near unity power factor and ability to meet IEEE-519 (1992) is easy with the built in sine wave input/output converter section. Baldor stocks ratings from 10 to 50 HP and has custom capabilities in larger horsepower sizes. All units are UL and CUL listed and come standard with ready to mount NEMA 1 enclosures and easy to use Operator Keypads.


Washdown

Baldor Washdown Duty adjustable speed motors and motor controls are designed for applications where the equipment is subjected to brutal high-pressure washdown or exposed to elements of inclement weather. Inverter and Vector controls are available in NEMA 4X enclosures from 1 through 20 HP. All Washdown Duty controls are UL and CUL Listed. Inverter and Vector Duty motors are available in Paint Free and Epoxy Coated finishes from 1 through 10 HP. All Washdown Duty Inverter and Vector Drive Motors are UL Recognized and meet NEMA MG1, Part 31.

One Way

One-way DC controls are designed to operate permanent magnet or wound field motors. If the motor's rotation needs to be changed, the armature leads need to be reversed. Some NEMA 1 and NEMA 4X controls offer optional switched for reversal. Stopping of a motor with a one-way control should be done by dynamic braking, some controls offer the Forward-Brake-Reverse switch for this purpose too.


Regenerative

Regenerative
Regen controls are designed to easily operate the motor in forward and reverse directions without motor lead reversal. A separate set of SCRs is used for each direction. With a regen control, stopping is controlled by using the motor's regenerated voltage sent back to the AC line.

Flex series AC Servo Control

The Flex series is a "flexible" versatile drive. It is flexible, so you can tailor it to your application, it is flexible to accept the standard +/- 10 Vdc input, or pulse and direction input, or electronic hand wheel input, flexible, so you can get it configured with CAN-bus, with external +24 Vdc customer supplied logic-flexible so you can configure manually or with auto tuning. Models available with and without internal power supply for 115/230/400/460 Vac and currents to 15/15/27/27 amps.


Flex+ series AC Servo Control

The Flex+ integrates a motion controller and brushless AC servo into a compact package capable of providing up to 15 pre-set point-to-point moves. Moves may be incremental or absolute, and include a return to home. Repeatable moves become easy to accomplish, with this easy to set up, easy to program, stand alone package. Models available with and without internal power supply for 115/230/400/460 Vac and currents to 15/15/27/27 amps.


H-series AC Servo Control

Baldor's H-series of servo controls has an easy to use keypad for setup and operation. The 12 keys provide tactile fee, and the 32 character alphanumeric display provides full parameter names to simplify setup and operation. The Baldor keypad is used on a variety of controls (inverter/vector/servo), so when you know how to operate one, you know how to operate them all. All models include internal power supply and are available for 230/400/460 Vac, with up to 54/27/27 amps continuous.


M-series AC Servo Control

The M-series from Baldor incorporates the same, easy to use keypad, as the H-series for setup and operation. The M-series is a panel mount package and incorporates a separate external power supply, allowing for several controls to be powered from that one supply. This approach is suitable for multi-axis applications. Models available for 115/230/400/460 Vac, with output currents up to 7.5/90/90/90 amps continuous.


DBSC-series AC Servo Control

The DBSC series uses a PC for setup. It is a panel mount package with separate external power supply. This approach is suitable for multi-axis applications. Available in 230/400/460 Vac, and up to 45/35/35 amps.


TSD

The Baldor TSD is a totally enclosed, stand alone one or two axes brush-type PWM servo control. It is capable of up to 5 amps per axis. A simplified packaging concept will allow one to take it right from its shipping carton and have it operational within 10 minutes. Just plug it into 115/220/240 Vac and it's ready to go.


UM

The UM is designed to operate a wide range of Baldor DC servo motors. The UM series typically contains one to six servo control cards mounted onto a multi-axes chassis. Models available with input voltage of 70 or 105 Vac, providing 6 and 15 amps continuous.


LD

The LD operates direct from 115 Vac and operates a wide range of Baldor DC servo motors. It typically contains one or two servo control cards mounted onto a chassis, provide 15 amps continuous per axis.
